In addition to having a 13" IPS 1920 x 1080 resolution Dolby Vision IPS (in-plane switching) display powered by integrated Intel UHD graphics on the inside, there is a 10.8" E-Ink touchscreen on the outside. In addition to performing like an e-book reader that can display and annotate PDF documents, the monochrome E-Ink screen allows you to receive notifications without opening the laptop, so you don't have to check your phone during meetings. The E-Ink touchscreen is also compatible with the included Lenovo Precision Pen for jotting down handwritten notes, drawings, and diagrams that can be synced with OneNote. The pen magnetically attaches to either side of the cover when it's not in use.

Featuring a powerful 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5-10210U quad-core processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a fast 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drive, the ThinkBook Plus can quickly load and multitask demanding applications while being compact enough to carry. Additional displays can be connected using the available HDMI port and USB Type-C port for presentations and an extended viewing space for more efficient multitasking. With support for 100% of the sRGB color gamut, photos, videos, and documents come to life in vivid detail. The graphics are accompanied by Dolby-enhanced Harmon stereo speakers that bring a deep sense of immersion to movies, TV shows, and music.

The USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port has a maximum throughput of 10 Gb/s with compatible devices and supports power delivery to keep the ThinkBook Plus charged. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports are also available for connecting compatible keyboards, mice, printers, and storage devices for a transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s. Other features include a 1MP 720p HD webcam with quad array microphones and a fast 802.11ax Wi-Fi connection for video meetings. The laptop is secured with an integrated Trusted Platform Module chip that encrypts your data and a fingerprint reader built onto the power button that allows you to quickly log in without having to remember passwords. The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus IML comes with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed.
