Dr. Evil and Goldmember, a 1970's disco aficionado with an immense affection for gold, plot to kidnap Austin Powers' father to keep the International Man of Mystery preoccupied while they launch Preparation H, a plan to use a "tractor beam" to put a solid gold meteor on a collision course for Earth.
